Privacy policy

This is the plain-English version of what Room for Heat (roomforheat.com) collects and why. Short version: very little, and we never sell it.

The fit checker

The measurements, electrical details and state you type into the fit checker are processed in your own browser. They aren't sent to us or stored by us.

Newsletter signup

If you sign up for our newsletter, you give us your email address (and a first name if you choose to). Our email provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), stores that address and sends the emails on our behalf. Kit may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. See Kit's privacy policy.

Affiliate links and cookies

Some links to sauna and cold-plunge sellers are affiliate links. When you click one, the seller (or its affiliate network, such as Awin or Impact) may set a cookie in your browser so it can tell the sale came from Room for Heat. That cookie belongs to them and is covered by their privacy policy. Room for Heat itself doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. See our affiliate disclosure.

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and block attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and popular pages; it doesn't use cookies to track you or build a profile of you across sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
• We don't run third-party ad networks or retargeting pixels.
• We don't share your email with sellers, sponsors or partners.

If you email us

We keep your message only as long as needed to reply and follow up.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email, block or clear cookies in your browser, and ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Room for Heat is not aimed at children under 13.
